Tom's Trip to Prague
October, 2004
I was asked to deliver a paper on the risk management
decisions that were made during EPA's response to the Anthrax attacks
on Capitol Hill in 2001 at a conference in Prague. This gave me
an opportunity to revisit Prague, where I spent time in the mid to late
90's. Here are some pictures taken during that trip.
Here is the incomparable view of the Charles Bridge and the Palace and
St Vitus Cathedral in the background
Here is a picture in Old Town Square of the statue to Jan Hus, the
national hero who stood up to the Pope
Here is St Nicholas Church in Old Town Square
The view of the Stare Mesto (Old Town) from the Powder Tower
This is the venue of the conference, in the old Municipal
Building.
Here I am in a group which was on a VIP tour of the old City Hall
